Sukha Kala Chana Masala Recipe

Ingredients
1 cup black chickpeas
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 onion, finely chopped
2 green chilies, chopped
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste

Method
1. Soak the black chickpeas overnight in water. Drain and rinse them the next day.
2. Heat oil in a pot over medium heat. Add cumin and mustard seeds until they begin to pop.
3. Stir in the chopped onion and green chilies. Cook until the onion turns golden brown.
4. Add minced ginger and garlic. Sauté for a minute until fragrant, then incorporate the chickpeas.
5. Season with garam masala and salt. Mix well, cook for 10 minutes, and serve warm.
