Ingredients
– 400g firm tofu
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
– 3 tablespoons gochujang
– 2 tablespoons honey
– 1 tablespoon soy sauce
– 200g green beans, trimmed
– ½ cup fresh herbs (like coriander and mint)
– ¼ cup roasted peanuts, chopped
– 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
– Rice, to serve
Method
1. Start by pressing the tofu to remove excess moisture. Cut it into cubes after pressing.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides.
3. In a small bowl, mix gochujang, honey, and soy sauce. Pour this sauce over the tofu and stir until evenly coated.
4. Stir in the green beans and cook for 5-7 minutes until they are tender. Remove from heat and add fresh herbs.
5. Serve the tofu mixture over rice. Top with chopped peanuts and sesame seeds.
