Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup almond milk
1 tbsp baking powder
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1 medium apple, peeled and diced
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp maple syrup
Oil for frying
Method
First, mix the flour, baking powder, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
Next, stir in the almond milk until the batter is well combined.
Fold in the diced apple carefully so it doesn’t break apart.
Heat oil in a deep pot over medium heat.
Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on each side.
