Hot Honey Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
500g boneless chicken thighs
1 cup plain flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
2 large eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons hot sauce
Vegetable oil for frying
Method
1. Start by seasoning the flour with salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and buttermilk together.
3. Dip each chicken thigh into the buttermilk mixture, then coat it in the seasoned flour.
4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
5. Combine honey and hot sauce in a small saucepan. Heat gently and stir until mixed, then drizzle over the cooked chicken.
