Ingredients
150 g plain biscuits
75 g unsalted butter
200 g dark chocolate
120 ml pouring cream
4 large eggs
110 g caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
50 g plain flour
1 pinch salt
Icing sugar for dusting
Method
Crush the biscuits into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a bag and smashing with a rolling pin.
Melt the butter in a saucepan and mix it with the biscuit crumbs until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a tart pan and refrigerate it until firm.
Heat the chocolate and cream in a separate saucepan until melted and smooth. Stir the mixture gently to combine.
In a bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, vanilla, flour, and salt together until smooth. Gradually add the chocolate mixture, stirring well until fully combined.
Pour the chocolate filling into the chilled tart crust and bake at 180°C for 25 minutes. Allow to cool slightly, then dust with icing sugar before serving.
