Method
1. Start by pouring vinegar, water, sugar, and salt into a saucepan.
2. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it starts to boil. Stir occasionally to dissolve sugar and salt.
3. Add peppercorns, mustard seeds, and crushed garlic to the boiling liquid.
4. Place cucumbers, onion, and dill weed into a clean jar.
5. Pour the hot liquid over the veggies in the jar. Allow it to cool, then seal the jar and refrigerate.
