Ingredients
– 250 ml warm water
– 2 tablespoons sugar
– 1 packet dry yeast
– 500 g all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 60 ml vegetable oil
– 200 g rolled oats
– 100 g raisins
– 1 teaspoon cinnamon
– 125 ml milk
Method
1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
2. Stir in flour, salt, and oil. Mix until the dough forms.
3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes on a floured surface until smooth. Place it in a greased bowl and cover.
4. Allow the dough to rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
5. Mix oats, raisins, and cinnamon. Once the dough is ready, roll it out, sprinkle with the mixture, and roll it back into a loaf shape. Place it in a greased loaf pan. Let it rise for another 30 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30-35 minutes.
