Ingredients
– 500 g ground beef
– 1 medium onion, diced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 can (400 g) diced tomatoes
– 1 can (400 g) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
– 1 cup beef broth
– 1 tablespoon chili powder
– 1 teaspoon cumin
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Method
1. Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
2. Stir in diced onion and garlic. Cook for about 3 minutes until they become soft.
3. Pour in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, and beef broth. Mix everything well.
4. Sprinkle chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper into the pot. Stir to combine.
5. Let the mixture simmer for about 20 minutes. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top before serving.
