Ingredients
– 1 cup hazelnuts
– 200 ml dark chocolate
– 100 ml sweetened condensed milk
– 1 tbsp vanilla extract
– 1 pinch salt
– 1/2 cup icing sugar
– 50 ml vegetable oil
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Spread the hazelnuts on a baking tray and roast them for about 10–15 minutes. They should turn golden brown and fragrant.
2. Allow hazelnuts to cool slightly, then rub them in a cloth to remove the skins.
3. Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or a double boiler until smooth.
4. In a food processor, combine the roasted hazelnuts, melted chocolate, condensed milk, vanilla, salt, and icing sugar. Blend until the mixture becomes creamy and smooth.
5. Slowly add the vegetable oil while blending until everything is well combined. Transfer to a container and refrigerate for at least an hour before using.
