Ingredients
– 250 g mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 2 teaspoons chili powder
– 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 cup water
– 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
– 2 tablespoons oil
– 1 medium onion, sliced
– 2 green chilies, slit
Method
1. Combine the flour, chili powder, turmeric, and salt in a bowl. Add water slowly to make a smooth batter.
2. Coat the sliced mushrooms with the batter thoroughly.
3. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the battered mushrooms until they turn golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
4. In the same pan, add sliced onions and green chilies. Sauté until golden and fragrant.
5. Add the fried mushrooms and ginger-garlic paste. Stir well and cook for a couple of minutes before serving.
