Method

1. Start by mixing warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it bubbles.
2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the bowl. Stir everything together until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. Place it in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the pesto evenly, and sprinkle grated cheese and sunflower seeds on top. Roll it up tightly and cut into pieces.
5. Arrange the pieces in a loaf pan, brush the tops with beaten egg, and bake at 180°C for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
