Ingredients
– 4 pieces of cod fillet
– 60 ml of miso paste
– 30 ml of soy sauce
– 30 ml of honey
– 15 ml of sesame oil
– 1 teaspoon of rice vinegar
– 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
– 1 teaspoon of grated ginger
– 2 tablespoons of chopped green onions
– Sesame seeds for garnish
Method
1. Start by mixing together the miso paste, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a bowl to create the marinade.
2. Place the cod fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the fish is well coated. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.
3. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C. Once ready, lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
4. Remove the cod from the marinade and place the fillets in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is flaky and cooked through.
5. After cooking, garnish the cod with chopped green onions and sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
