Cranberry Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
250 g fresh cranberries
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 orange, zested and juiced
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1/4 cup raisins (optional)
Method
Combine the cranberries, sugar, and water in a saucepan.
Add the orange zest and juice, cinnamon, ginger, and salt to the mixture.
Bring the ingredients to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer.
Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until cranberries break down.
If desired, stir in lemon juice, walnuts, and raisins before serving.
