Ingredients
125 g unsalted butter, softened
100 g granulated sugar
100 g brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
150 g all-purpose flour
30 g cocoa powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
150 g chocolate chips
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line two baking trays with parchment paper.
Cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well until fully combined.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Slowly mix these dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed. Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared trays, spacing them out.
