Green Peppercorn Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 1 small onion, finely chopped
– 1 garlic clove, minced
– 1 cup beef stock
– 1 tablespoon green peppercorns, drained
– 100 ml heavy cream
– 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
– Salt, to taste
– Pepper, to taste
Method
1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until they are soft and translucent.
3. Pour the beef stock into the pan. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it reduce for about 10 minutes.
4. Stir in the green peppercorns, heavy cream, and Dijon mustard. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
5. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste. Serve the sauce warm.
