Ingredients
– 4 cups stale bread, torn into pieces
– 1 cup milk
– 2 large eggs
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 cup breadcrumbs
– Olive oil for frying
Method
1. Soak the torn bread pieces in the milk for about 10 minutes until soft.
2. In a bowl, mix the soaked bread, eggs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
3. Shape the mixture into small balls, about the size of golf balls.
4. Roll each ball in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
5. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the bread balls until golden brown on all sides.
