Delicious Cabbage Mince Chow Mein: Quick & Easy Recipe

Ingredients

– 500 g mince (beef or pork)
– 2 cups cabbage, shredded
– 1 onion, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 carrots, julienned
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
– 1 teaspoon sesame oil
– 300 g chow mein noodles
– 1 tablespoon oil for cooking

Method

1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is soft.
2. Stir in the mince and cook until browned. Break it apart while cooking to ensure it cooks evenly.
3. Add the carrots and shredded cabbage to the pan. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
4. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Mix everything together well and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
5. Cook the chow mein noodles according to the package instructions. Add them to the pan and toss everything together. Serve hot.
