Decadent Soft Chocolate Buns Recipe: Warm, Fluffy, And Irresistible

Ingredients

– 3 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 cup warm milk
– 1/3 cup sugar
– 1 packet (7g) dry yeast
– 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
– 1/2 cup softened butter
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 2 large eggs
– 1 cup chocolate chips
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

1. In a large bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
2. Add flour, cocoa powder, softened butter, salt, eggs, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Stir until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until it is smooth. Place it in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
4. Punch down the dough, then fold in chocolate chips. Shape the dough into small buns and place them on a baking tray. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
5. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Bake the buns for 15-20 minutes until they are firm and cooked through.
