Ingredients
– 400 g plain flour
– 200 ml water
– 40 g sugar
– 7 g instant yeast
– 25 g vegetable oil
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 2 tsp pandan extract
– Food coloring (optional)
– Extra flour for dusting
Method
1. Combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a large bowl. Mix everything well.
2. Gradually add water and oil to the dry ingredients. Stir until it forms a dough.
3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 10 minutes. It should be smooth and elastic.
4. Divide the dough into two equal parts. Add pandan extract to one piece and mix until it’s uniform.
5. Roll out both dough pieces, layer them on top of each other, and roll them up tightly like a log. Cut into equal pieces and let them rest for 30 minutes before steaming.
