Delicious Low-Sugar Sweet Potato Pumpkin Paste Recipe

Ingredients

– 300 g sweet potato
– 300 g pumpkin
– 2 tablespoons coconut oil
– 50 ml coconut milk
– 2 teaspoons honey
– 1 teaspoon cinnamon
– 1 pinch nutmeg
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 tablespoon chia seeds
– a sprinkle of salt

Method

1. Start by peeling the sweet potato and pumpkin. Cut them into small cubes.
2. Boil the sweet potato and pumpkin in a pot of water for about 15 minutes, or until they are soft.
3. Drain the water and transfer the cooked vegetables into a mixing bowl. Add coconut oil, coconut milk, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, chia seeds, and salt.
4. Mash the mixture together until it becomes smooth and creamy.
5. Serve warm as a side dish or dessert.
