Ingredients
125 g unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup chocolate chips
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth.
Mix in the milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually stir this combination into the wet ingredients, blending well.
Finally, fold in the rolled oats and chocolate chips. Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them apart, then bake for about 10–12 minutes.
