Ingredients
– 1 cup almond flour
– 1/2 cup cocoa powder
– 1/2 cup honey
– 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
– 2 large eggs
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp baking powder
– 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
– 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, mix together the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, honey, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.
4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and stir until the mixture is smooth. Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts if using.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
